All INNOVATOR wall-mounted units have been equipped with an advanced air ionizer as a standard feature, ensuring the highest air quality in the air-conditioned space. The ionizer produces negative ions that are released into the air flowing through the air conditioner. These negatively charged ions have the ability to surround and attract various types of pollutants circulating in the room. They react with them chemically, deactivating them. In this way, the ionizer effectively eliminates fine dust particles, viruses, bacteria, dust mites, mould, pollen, and other allergens from the air. It also neutralizes unpleasant odours, including cigarette smoke. Additionally, the air ionizer helps create a healthier and safer environment by promoting overall wellbeing and reducing the potential for respiratory issues caused by indoor air pollution.

After activating the self-cleaning function, the air conditioner operates in cooling mode at a low fan speed – this allows the condensed water to collect dust accumulated on the heat exchanger fins of the indoor unit. Subsequently, the device switches to heating mode with the fan still running at low speeds – the heated air dries the interior of the unit. Finally, the air conditioner switches to fan mode and expels the moist air. This entire process keeps the interior of the indoor unit dry, preventing the growth of bacteria and mould.
